How to Create an eToro Investing Account and Start Investing: A Step-by-Step Guide.
This short guide will help you quickly and easily create an eToro investment account, verify it, and make your first purchase.

On the page that opens, you can create an account by entering your email, a desired username, and a password, or simply sign up using your Google or Facebook account.
After registration, you will need to answer a few standard questions designed to assess your investment experience.
Although you can start investing right away, we strongly recommend completing the full account verification. Without it:
Your deposit limit will be restricted to €2,000.
You will not be covered by the Investor Compensation Scheme.
The verification consists of two steps:
Identity Verification: You will need to upload a photo of a valid passport, national ID card (both sides), or a residence permit.
Address Verification: You will need to upload a photo of a document no older than 6 months that shows your full name and address. A bank statement, utility bill (for electricity, water, etc.), or a government-issued tax letter is suitable for this.
To deposit funds, click the blue "Deposit Funds" button on the left side of your main account dashboard.
In the window that opens:
Enter the desired amount (e.g., €200).
Choose the payment method – Credit/Debit Card.
Enter your card details. It's important that the card belongs to you.
Funding by card is the fastest and most convenient method.
Important: If you choose to deposit via Bank Transfer, please note that the first minimum deposit is $500, and the funds will take several business days to arrive in your account.
After a successful payment, you will see a confirmation on the screen.
In the search bar at the top of the platform, enter the name or ticker symbol of the desired stock, ETF, or other asset (e.g., XDWL.DE).
Select the correct item from the results and click the green "Trade" button on the right.
The trade window will open. Here:
In the "Amount" field, enter the sum you wish to invest.
You can choose which currency (USD or EUR) to use for the purchase by clicking on the "Available USD" or "Available EUR" field.
After checking the details, click the green "Buy" button.
Congratulations!
You have successfully made your first investment. You can see and manage all your investments in the "Portfolio" section of your account.
