eToro reviews your information — approval typically takes within one business day.
Meanwhile, you can explore the platform with a $100,000 virtual demo account.
Continue to select:
Account type (standard retail account vs. professional; default is standard)
Base currency (USD, EUR, or GBP) — choose the one matching your bank to avoid conversion fees
Minimum deposit is usually $50 (or equivalent).
To deposit:
Log in → click “Deposit Funds”.
Enter amount and choose currency.
Select deposit method — eToro supports bank transfer, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, etc.
Use eToro Money for lower FX fees and multi-currency holdings (if available in your region).
Once your deposit is confirmed (instant for most methods, 4–7 business days for bank transfers), your real-money account is activated.
You can fund with USD, EUR, GBP based on your chosen currency .
On your dashboard, toggle between “Virtual” and “Real” accounts.
